No buckaroos there ain't no hot rods in them parts you know. Wyoming is full of cowboys and indians.

  4. But there's an over abundance of them in Utah. Pfft. I'll bet per capita I got Utah beat with just what's in my yard.

  5. What's Florida full of?

  6. It was a joke... Notice I posted a WY car.

  7. I was also just joking. But, you would think Utah would be a hotseat for hot rods and shit, considering it's the home state to Bonneville. You just don't see much down there. I know Wyoming's a joke, but I always gotta try to convince myself it's rad here. Ha ha.

I though Bonneville was on the boarders of Utah and Nevada?????
Ok we will take Jackson and all of its revenue.

  9. Bonneville is in Utah, Wendover is on the border. You can fuckin' have Jackson...and all of Teton County. Take Yellowstone too, that's not Wy. to me. The I-80 corridor is Wyoming. Ha Ha.

  10. Ok, I guess I missed it. Where in WY are you? Believe it or not there is actually a lot in WY - they just never see the streets.

    Crashandburns,

Why are you so pissed off at Jackson? Clint Eastwood thought it was cool enough to make a movie here. Richard Petty and his family have a place in Alpine and I think even Jessie James/Sandra Bullock have a home here. I drive a 32 roadster with a flatty all over Grand Teton National park in the summer. Best place in the world to drive a roadster, great scenery and little traffic (if you don't count the moose, elk and buffalo).

Most people that go to Yellowstone are not looking for hot rods.

Rock Springs has Jackson Hole beat hands down. We are considered the Red Headed Step Child Of the State. And Home of the 9th street hot rod museum, and eXXXit 107 video.

  16. I'm not pissed at Jackson, I just think it's a tourist trap, and to me, not really like the rest of Wyoming at all. I've been there a few times and it's really nice if you like over priced cowboy hats, and lassos. Even the McDonalds has a nice rustic feel. Why aren't our Mcdonalds like that? We're in Wyo. too. Ha ha.That's cool you drive your roadster around there, the scenery is nice. You should drive it down this way sometime
and check out the Flaming Gorge loop tour. It's nice too, and you don't have to dodge oriental tourists.

  17. Those are street rods. There are a few of those here too.

  18. I live in the beatiful town of Rock Springs, home to the World Famous Astro Lounge, and winters that make you comtemplate suicide.

  19. Ha Ha.

  20. Bump. I saw three early 30's rods in Jackson Wyoming last week, maybe it was July 4th weekend? One was black with long side pipes, nice stance. They were driving around together. Another one was yellow. I just drove to and from Jackson and I only saw a 38-40'ish Ford or Plymouth with Oregon plates, gray, going East on I80 in Eastern Wyoming or Western Nebraska. I did see a truck with IL plates hauling a late 20's duallie truck.

O.T. But I used to live in Jackson in the 70's and this was my hot rod on Jackson Lake.

I still know of some barn finds that have not been found. Maybe someday I will go on the hunt again.
