Why six screws instead of the original 3?

    Looks or less movement?

Snap on or Strap on ??????

Let's get this right, Christmas is comming.

  4. Particularly if you run radials you're going to be throwing off the snap ons on a regular basis. Radial tires are stiffer and cause you to get some rim flex more than a bias ply creates. Maybe running the screw ons with some cushioning and not being torqued right down tight is the way to go.

I have custom 18" rims on my 1935 and would like to cover them with moons. Do they make a set for 18". Can I drill and tap the aluminum rim to screw them on?????

They will make what ever size you want, just talk to them.

I wouldnt tap an aluminium wheel, I dont think it will hold a small thread for those covers, but it might.

I have drilled and taped steel wheels, and that workes better than just a screw. The screws dont look as clean as a stainless ****on head allen.

dzus them. Moon loans u the jig to put on the tabs. Makes puttin air in less of a h***le. And if you screw up the screws....you get air leaks.
