Damn man, that ****s. It is respectable that he came forth with what he did, i'll give him that much...but wow..that's a big screw up especially for someone who gets paid to park cars.
What was he driving to do that type of damage? I agree, those sure as hell look like tire marks on that quarter. Did he even explain how it happened?

No doubt-those are tire marks from a BIG *** TIRE. Big lug marks. Maybe even a tailgate mounted tire? That ****s man.

I'm glad to see they told the truth and are insured. He smacked it pretty good. I feel the pain is really about to start when the adjuster shows up.

Since the valet is going to be looking for a job soon, you might offer to teach him bodywork. That is, if he doesn't mind working for free for the first few weeks.:p
Hell, you already know he's honest. That's asking for a lot out of a young employee nowadays.

Alex this guy was probably sh$$$ing himself on the walk over. You gonna give him a good "estimate" maybe a mellower version of Kirk's car in your future???

Man Alex, that stinks! My 64 got broad sided square over the tire on the p***enger side and I have the very same buckle in the same exact spot on the driver's side you got. I got hit by a guy doing about 30.....he musta really hit you with some juice!

(and I clicked this thread thinking you were having it chopped....not the pictures I was expecting)

first mistake west hollywood, 2nd west hollywood valet, 3rd possibly tea?
I never let them park my cars.
i know, let your guard down for a second in Hell A, it is ALWAYS something.
Better run an inventory on your interior, they always like to steal something.
Usually works out better to find street parking and walk, or convince them to let you park it up front usually works.

But, sincerely sorry for your headache. I hope you get some mad estimates and make it worth your while.

Poor guy. He's probably trying to get up the nerve to call up Burger King and ask for his old job back now.

hate to see that stuff happen. most of the time it's a hit and run so you get ****ed over but at least dude came clean. the place where you were at should have insurance because they have valet parking.

I wasn't going to bring up having someone's Man Card revoked.... but sometimes you just have to take the Mrs out for tea and crumpets. I get dragged to Broadway plays once in a while.

That ****s. Good thing you got proof of all the damage after it happened.

The thing I don't get is why was it on the ground? Was the valet jacking with the air bags?

That REALLY ****s Alex, but try to find some silver lining. The car isn't irreparable. The insurance company will compensate you the amount it would cost someone else to fix it. So you'll more than likely be able to walk away from the experience with a nice wad of money in your pocket for your troubles. Still ****s that you need to mess with the car that was fine to begin with, but the $$ does help to ease the pain.

I had an OT daily driver that was hit 3 times. I would just patch it up with junkyard parts and keep rolling. After 3 years and 70,000 miles of driving, subtracting maintenance costs, the car paid me $400 to drive it after the insurance payouts. Sometimes the law works for you.

Since when do construction guys go to a high cl*** restaurant for lunch and have the valet park their caterpillar...???

One good thing...YOU'RE a body man and I can see a new paint job coming up...oh, and get three or four good estimates from reputable body shops...:rolleyes: make that restaurant pay.
