Caught this episode today and I've already seen the car in one of my mag's but while their talking about the build I saw over one of the guy's shoulder's there was a pic of a marroon and gold scalloped Coupe on the wall. That is the car I would like to get some more info on if anybody know's the car I'm talking about. I searched for pic's of it but no luck. Thanks
Calling Rikster, where are you Rikster? (I'm guessing he knows or can figure it out; the man is an encyclopedia of kustom cars.) If you can find a photo someone can probably help you out. There was one in Rod and Custom and/or Street Rodder a couple years ago that sounds like the same car?
I just watched that today myself, and the Ford has an early Pontiac grill, this car is close but no cigar!
Took the words right out of my mouth.Still looking for pic's of the car but nothing yet. Man that car looked nice
I appreciate the work that went into it, but it's not my 'cup of tea'. That maroon one is beautifull.
X2.... i thought the maroon was sweet. i would have been surprised he would do that one but never know. He has great talent just a tad off what I like. Basically the rims and some paint jobs are just not my style but the guy is a good guy and has talent so good for him.
"Get rid of the rims, and it would be damn near perfect. " I agree. I realy dig this car minus the rims but hey at least they are bolt on, can always be switched later.
Get a hold of Scratch here on the HAMB. I have seen him quite often on that show. I am sure that he will know what you are looking for.
Not my cup of tea either,as I said in my original post I'm more interested in getting info on a car that I saw on a poster in the background in the episode of Overhaulin where they built that car. I have alot of respect for all those builder's but like they say "different strokes"
Two year old thread...sorry I'm so late to the party. Saw this car in 2004 at the Labor day Cruise in Costa Mesa.
