they went into the vortex, what is the vortex? It's where your extra socks go, your keys go, the thing you just set down goes, anything important gets ****ed into it. If you are lucky it may spit the bolts out somewhere in your house, like behind the stuff at the bottom of the freezer. If you want to find them go find new bolts, as soon as you do they will show up. I've tried plastic drawers, mason jars, divided boxes, etc, nothing works. :p

I haven't misplaced any bolts since I started storing them in dryer sheets.

It looks like it is time to clean the garage or work on some other part of the project. That is the only way outside of buying new bolts that I can find any in my garage. And it's only a small one car garage. At least one day this weekend is garage cleanup day for me as I need to be able to move things around and find some missing parts myself.

Ya got any small kids? One winter back in the 80's I was doing brakes on my 69 camaro when my oldest was about 4. When I went to put the tire back on I couldnt find the lugnuts anywhere. Finally went and got some more. The next spring I cranked up the four wheeler and it started spitting lug nuts out the exhaust.
