    What cubic inch and horsepower?

  5. 6090 is just what Ford put to say "it's a head"

The only year that had a 4V intake was a 427 in 1968??????
427 Heads parts-# C4AE-6049-F this could be from any year that had the 427.

  8. Sorry, but FE Ford engines have had 4v intakes every year since they were introduced in 1958.As a matter of fact, the 4v is the most plentiful intake you will find.
The C4 denotes a 1964 cast date, but the head could have come off of any dispacement that year. Can't tell without the letter after the 6049.
Never have seen a number like the one posted for the block.

  9. head numbers
    1964-65 352 C4AE, C4AE-G
    1964-65 390 C4AE, C4AE-G
    1964 427 HIGH RISER C4AE-6096-F

Check the block for other numbers & does the intake have any numbers on it is it aluminum or cast?

The heads are 6090-G same as yours. Looks like what I have is a 1964 Galaxy 4V 300 HP motor. Thanks for the help

  11. I think you mean "Galaxie";). I believe the Z in the first number means 300HP 390 4V.
