I'll be there, bringing Tony a sample of the clear, matte finish powder coat on an aluminum block from my alternator bracket done by my friend Tim Dingler @ Southern Blasting & Coating in Zebulon, GA. If Tony likes it I'm taking the intake manifold(s) and valley cover from his Desoto Hemi back with me for the same. If anyone who is coming to breakfast has any aluminum parts that they think they might want the treatment, bring them along. This guy does great work for reasonable prices, and he can even blast and powder coat a frame, as he has a 20 foot oven. But I can,t take a frame home in my trunk Sunday!
And you can bet I'm gonna get my share of grease while I'm @ the Skillett. I'm sorta partial to their country fried steak and eggs with home fries. Of course, gotta have that gravy!

On edit: PS to those who just sorta think that this Suday is a little inconvenient and you're gonna wait till next time: The Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday season is fast approaching, and you'll be busy as a cat covering up **** on a tin roof with family obligations and sure as Hell ain't gonna have time to hang out with the gang!

Bit late now to arrange that, but if I had just known, I might could have made it happen!

Hot Damn I'm stoked to have DOm coming. We'll also have Brett's Pop in town. This should be a good one.

Now all we need is some of the other GA folks to come on down (or up). Everyone says they wish they could make it. Put you gas pedal where your mouth is. :) If Dirty old man can bring his old (and haandsome) *** up then the rest of you can stop by and say hello. :)

Silver solder is harder and also requires a higher temp to melt. But if you're up to what I think you're up to, I would buy a new roll with a label on it, not make a guess on some old stuff.

See if you can dig your fingernail into it.................If so, it's solder....not silver solder......

The two flavors of it are acid core, and rosin core.................

And if those lead paint chips you ate long ago,.......ain't hurt you yet.....then I would not worry about it.....................
And, I have some doubts about that...................

Good time today. DOM must have been reading Dog_Patch's mind since he did bring up the judge. Damn that thing is fun to shoot. :)

Man what a fun time at the gun range! DOM's Judge is really fun. If you shoot it with authority, its really not bad at all, but limp wrist it and its a bit much.
