I gotta 200r4 ****** in my 68 nova yenko clone, problem is it shifts through the gears way too fast. No matter how I adjust the cable it does the same thing I can adjust it to shift late and hard if I just baby it but as soon as i get on it, it shifts real fast and its like it falls on its face, Also when Im going down the road and let off the throttle it just freewheels like its in neutral until I get on the gas again then it grabs ahold again and goes, It dont matter how fast Im going I can let off the gas at 120 mph and the engine will just go back to idle and Im just coasting until I give it enough gas to catch up! This has been very frustating Any suggestions?

Elciman, Does your 200R4 have a va***n line going to a can ? If so that could be the problem,,, inside the va***n can is a small screw.. it needs to be adjusted and or you need to check if you even have an active va***n line going to it. Also you TV cable may be hooked to the carb linkages correctly but may have the wrong arc or may not be hooked up in the trans.
