I've been selling the adaptor kits for 15 years and I have allways recommended the 85/92 S-10 trans. Has worked well for the flathead application.

Just finished putting one in my 32. Got the whole set-up from a 85 camaro and bolted it to a 88 350 chevy , want a nightmare.Flywheel would'nt fit one was a two pc rear seal /one pc rear seal, order new one (150.00) new clutch set , slave cylinder would'nt work , bought a new one , now all bolted in drive shaft in everything looks good , can't get a starter to fit.85 T-5 is tilted to the p*** side , so requires a starter that i did'nt pull with all the ****** parts , 3 weeks later and i have the starter (exchanged 5 different ones ) but, now i need starter bolts !!!!! 3 weeks and 6 bolts later , maybe i can start it with a pull cord.
Point is if you can get EVERYTHING you can from the donor , everything, even if you think you don't need it , think again you prolly will.
