So after talking to Joe Hollish he say's that he may have something that I find usefull, anyway two day's before christmas I get a box in the mail. How about the original Miscalculation fuel tank. I called Joe, and he say's merry christmas. I was at a loss for words. Needless to say it's on the car, now just waiting for fuel lines from Hilborn and getting ready to mount the wheel tubs.

Got the wheel tubs in and mocked up, pay no attention to the masking tape. The tubs are just clecoed in for right now everything needs to be fastened and final trimed, but I think you get the idea. I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out. Sure does look alot differant after stairring at it without any for so long. Hilborn should have the fuel line to on Thursday, so I'll be able to get that part finished-up. More later. Todd.

With the holidays, getting the other dragster home, working, and not having access to the internet unless i'm at work. It took me awhile. I had 17 days off between the time it showed up and I could post it. **** dude, I don't even have cable!! Screw the pony express.

In 1959 I had a thing about comp coupes. That was on top. I loved that car. Absolutely delighted to see it coming back to life. If its built right you don't have to be "extra special crazy" to drive it. But it does help a lot.

I knew I had it. HRM Nov. 1959. Nationals coverage.

Ok, got the wheel tubs trimmed and installed, tach wired, oil and boost gauge's plummed, fuel shut off cable installed and mounted, and the blower chain gaurd top mounts secured, and the mag wires run. Damn those tubs where a ***** to fit. All an all I'm pretty content with the way it has turned out. Next stop Detroit.

Woke up on Saturday, went out to the garage fired up the heat waited for Steve (Ftroop) and Tim Timoszyk to show up. Steve got there at about 9:30 brought a old Oldsmobile distributor that i put in the lathe to build a oil pump primer, got that done at about 11:00, Tim showed up, So we filled the tank, set the mag, gapped the plugs, hit the ****on, threw the switch and GACK, GACK ,GACK!!!!!!!! AFTER 51 YEARS IT ROARED TO LIFE !!!!!!!!
