I'm a ways off from actually doing this, but a little visual inspiration is a great motivator! I know what I want, but can't quite put it together in my head. I want a gold car with white Watson-style scallops. That I'm sure of. I'm not sure about the roof. Should it be gold and white, or orange/red candy flaked fish scales/lace over white abalone flake, just white flake, or all/none of the above? I'm leaning towards gold roof with white bands separating it into panels. I'm hoping some photoshoppers will chime in. FWIW, I have a '63 Corvair Monza 900, but I'm going to have to graft on a '60 front end due to some rust damage. The hood will remain the peaked '63 hood. My interior is red, hence my idea to tie it together with some red/orange candy on the roof. Just a thought. Here's the gold I want. Here's some cars that are not mine, but should give you a good base to work with. 60 nose - curves in instead of out, and different headlights. My Watson inspiration roof inspiration
Thanks! That was more of an opinion question than a request, but if anyone wanted to knock out some more images I would love to see what you came up with!
