I need a rocker arm, but can't figure out what the heck to order from the local AP stores, I was "guessing" these heads I have were 1970 vintage, maybe with something that had a 429 in it, but every thing I've ordered has been for newer styled/no-adjustabe heads.

BTW, this is on topic, as it's the engine I'm putting in my '30 Dodge:)

you can change out the studs to cleveland /boss 302 studs( use ARP studs) and use those engines rocker arms...also, cut the seats to accept the CJ/ SCJ valves ,and have an equivalent head to the Police Interceptor heads..great street head with a little exhaust port work...

The C8VE, C9VE and D0VE are very much the same. Use the 1968 Thunderbird 429 or 1968 Lincoln 460 as your vehicle to get the right part.

SEALED POWER Part # R863A for the rocker or SEALED POWER Part # R1033 for the kit.
