Hey fellas, some of you know I work for a die cast car company. www.M2Machines.com

A couple of weeks ago I was contacted by a HAMB member that didn't know we existed and had been putting out cars for about 18 months now. I just want to show you guys some of the newer cars we have been working on. I do not want to come off as spam or a sales guy. I have emailed Ryan before and sent him cars. I just don't want any drama, I get enough on the die cast message boards. Now onto the cars.

Almost all the cars I am going to show are the smaller 1/64 scale. Here are a few from our Auto-Drags series. Some of you may recognize some of the names and businesses that are located in East Los Angeles.

This is our Auto-Lift 2pack. The lift is 100% die cast. You can stack the lift onto of each other for storage.

This is our 1/24 scale '57 Chevy from the Auto-Drags line. Check out the vintage Mr. Gasket logo and Corky.

And for you closet Muscle Car lovers here on the HAMB, check out our web site for images of our Detroit-Muscle line. We tool up different engines, air cleaners, bucket seats, bench seats, standard grills, hide away headlight grills and other items normally not done in 1/64 scale.

    Thanks,
    Sean

seems cool to me. I am thinking you need a '53 Studebaker in the line up though, or maybe a Granatelli Avanti. :D

Yeah, Bill's a good guy. Wait till you see the bright yellow '57 Chevy in 1/24 scale early next year.

Keep an eye open next year. I was in Indiana this summer at a certain car museum.

Yes, this merc is a limited available at http://www.milezone.net/ . We will have a flamed merc early next year for the regular releases at Wal Mart, Target, Toys R Us and other stores. Here's a hint, the next flamed merc has the same flames as another merc here on the HAMB.

    Thanks,
    Sean

    Wow,nice cars and trucks!
Stude trucks mentioned a 53,howzabout a 41-48 M5? Noone I know of produces one of these in that scale?

Would you consider showing how the "buck" is created to cast the particular models?
Does someone carve them or are they scanned and produced?
    I always wondered about that?

    Thanks!

I AGREE, any of the 2r trucks would be cool (49-53). i'll commit to buying 10 right now. :D

are you talking about doing the trucks, or the avanti, or both?

That would be cool, but we have to be careful about the cars we pick to do. The tooling is so expensive we need to get multiple runs out of a particular casting. And if we do make something that is not 100% stock and is recognizable, people usually only want the one done in the correct colors. They are not at all interested in repaints in different colors.

We don't have any plans for any M5's now, but you never know.

You know, I had thought about putting something together for tech week about the production process. We are in the transition of moving away from hand carved to 3D/autocad files. The 3D process is much faster and easier to make changes on.

Awesome! We are working on more cool stuff.

How funny. Right across the street from Chuy's is Carmelita Chorizo. My favorite Chorizo, yum.

We have no plans for any Avantis right now. They are an interesting design. Sometimes I totally dig them then other times I just don't know.

    Thanks,
    Sean

You will more likely see that in the smaller 1/64 scale. The 1/24 & 1/18 scales are such a large investment. It's very hard to not produce icon cars in the large scales because of price.

We have that is just coming out. It's in our brand new Ground Pounders line. It's more over the top hot rod and custom style, the body lines are no longer 100% stock. I'll post a photo of them when I get a chance.

It's still cars, just a whole lot smaller.

Awesome! The tampo work on our emblems, pin striping and flames coming out of our factory is amazing. I send over a flame job that I think may be too intense for a 1/64 scale car, and they always exceed my expectations.

    Thanks,
    Sean
