I live in queens ny now. just got into the classic scene. looking all over the streets but dont see any classics.

 

Just signed up................. letterologist from Islip Terrace, Long Island, NY. Ties to Islip speedway and Westhampton........ and the streets of old.

 

If Binghamton is upstate,then I'm living in the suburbs of Canada.

I'm in there, live in the south central near the PA border, very small town of Campbell, just west of Elmira. Have a F100, 50 Willys Jeepster and building a sbc powered 53 MG TD with Corvette suspension. Summer in upstate is great, only 30 minutes from Watkins Glen track, very pretty finger lake area, but the winter and taxes suck big time

I know what he was saying but was wondering why the " lecture tone " NY is a huge state and I did not get the vibe that only NYC guys were posting. Try being less sarcastic sometime

It's a regional thing,I live near Rochester,ya know,Western NY state over to Buffalo,Syracuse being cental,and Upstate really being the Albany area to my way of thinking and then there'e the Southeren Tier near PA.Away from the metro region near NYC,the state is rally quite rural, cows,little one horse towns and shit like that.A lot of people from other states think NY is NYC.And there's plenty of hillbillys in the state,me being one of them.

Yup we used to make lots of Rev War noise at the old Schroon Manor golf course. I think its the softest grass I've ever camped on.
