Rich, thanks for posting the photos,I just found my copies. And thanks to all for the very nice comments ! I'll p*** the word to my metal man on the fenders
That is definitely a nice way to start the day.Very suave and de*****. Any pics of the V/C adaptors? I knew about the FE intake deal but thta's the first I've seen/read/heard of the V/C thing.
was down in dayton ohio when Wayne was picking up the "WIDE GLIDE'N MOUSE" last weekend...sweet car to say the least!!!the metal work is perfect!! Wayne's a bit taller then me and i'm 5'6" and could barely reach the peadals...perfect fit for him though...tons of lil things done to Waynes topolino...stuff that took me a minute to realise, and i been staring at mine for almost 1 1/2....was great to see another topo in the "metal"....never did think to ask what color??or have ya decided on that yet, Wayne???
I've never seen this model car with fenders on it, modified or otherwise. It looks better with the wider fenders. They look best fenderless with a mountain of motor in front of the windshield.
Did a guy named Scott help with the fenders.I believe i saw your car in this area but it had been a while. If it is the same car the workmanship on your car is great.I would have never believed a Fiat with a 500 Cad.
Yes, the metal man who did my fenders name is Scott Stickley. If anyone is interested in him doing any work for them I'll post his contact info. He is also a member of Hamb.
Here mine, The front wings are stockers with 3" width added and rears are VW cut up 6 ways and welded back. Running gear is all Alpha Romeo, 5 speed trans axle and twin OHC, twin dellorto's, very sweet. Sold it 3 years ago, bad day!
Saw your Fiat and thought I'd let you know it's real neat and very reminscent of my '37 Simca (the old 303 John Callies car). I was wondering if you'd know where I can find a set of cherry front and rear original fenders as well as a front nose. Please let me know: patobrien@realrodderswheels.com Thank you, Pat
