Food for thought concerning early FE's. The '62 and earlier Galaxies used tall C shaped motor mounts. '63-'64 used flat motor mounts. Both styles were for the two hole block. It may be possible to use the crossmember from one of the Galaxies mentioned as it is a large round tube from framerail to framerail curving under the oilpan. Be sure to use the same year motor mount as the crossmember.

well i am still looking for any people that have done this install before, not to sound like a**** hole, but someone has to to have a better idea than to cut out cross member, and weld it in, i think that might look like*****, and do not like that i should wast a good cross member that someone could use.
