that life pic is like animals all getting a drink while the rest of the heard waits its turn.. some with tails up all alert and hyper WAITYING FOR THE CROC TO STRIKE FROM THE CALM WATER! for entertainment they pushed or had WFO throttle stuck cars run off the HIGH banks into the river during the local 4th of July celebrations in many river towns here in MINN. oh ya that vw van looks like a cuban refugee barge so who does live in a van down by the river?
Back about twenty years ago I heard from locals around Connersville, IN that bodies for Cords and/or Alburns were built there and when the company went under the left over bodies were used along the Whitewater River near there for errosion control. Never did see any of the bodies but heard that from several different people.
I haven't heard of those before, where are they? There's a bunch of 53 dodges in the ohio river that were accidently dumped off a barge when they were new.
Old cars were also piled up around creeks and riverbanks here to stop erosion. I've found plenty of them. They were also piled up and made into house seats. Our town recently (well, about 2 years ago) built a byp*** and cut through some old property were a nice house used to sit. The back side was littered with random early and late '60s models cars. I got a couple pieces of gl*** and some trim. Thats alot of the reason why there is a shortage of old vehicles around here, because there is so many creeks and river sides to reenforce, and hills and hollers to push them into.

I know most of that stuff is too far gone, but man I'd be out there scavenging anything that I could pull off.
