I believe I have just seen one of the top five on my list of favorite Mercs of all time.

That car is just so right.

    I WOULDN"T EITHER!.It's an awesome car.

  4. Roll down rear windows with slanted b pillars? Cool! I'd like to hear how you did that.

  5. You have to mount the window mechanism and the channel on the same slant as the B-pilar.

i go with the angle of the "A" pillar when i measure. so in actuality a vertical measurement would be less. On the "C" pillar i will usually do the same amount vertically to make sure the roof/door line has the right flow to it. what you see in the pics was 5" measured out in masking tape and the end result

oh ok thanks i have wondered about that 5 inches on the angle of the post equals 3 and a half vertically and yours is about a half inch lower at the rear . thanks and awsome job on that Merc by the way

the ones of it outside on the concrete with the shiny wheels in front and the 54 Merc tail lights were taken about 2 weeks ago . the gutter is actually a 5/16 round rod i welded in place of the original gutter the original one had some cancer . I have been having a good time working on this car its great stress relief . and thanks for the positive comments
