    Guys:

Anybody know where I can get a set of chilled iron lifters for a 392 hemi? I am matching it up to a Howards Cam 430. This is a hardface cam, new in the box. Talked to Crower, they said maybe their billet lifters could do the trick. Thought I would throw it out to the HAMB. Thanks, Kent

  2. Have you tried Isky? I know back in the '60's he had them.

I wonder if cryo-treating would replicate the chilled pouring process.

Cyro is certainly a way of doing that. I'd also look at Joe Schubeck's coated lifters. They aren't cheap, but they are the only lifters you can run from one cam to another because they simply do not wear.

I had a Isky billet 7000T in my Ed Pink 354. Isky lifters too, I'd try them. Have you checked with Howards about that cam? Lippy

Talked to Howard's yesterday. Was impressed on what I had but no chilled iron lifters. Talked to a bunch of guys already. Ken Black gave me some names but no luck. I plan on calling Ron Isky today and see what he says. How can I get in touch with Schubeck? Thanks, Kent
