Actually his post says he's trying to build a "spark box out of an ignition module".

The HEI has an ignition module and if you have a way to pulse it from a magnetic pickup it WILL fire a coil. Now if the FORD module does this better or without a mag pickup then I suppose my info was useless. Which I'm glad you posted it reminds me I made a mistake in my earlier post.

He says he's a car guy - either help him or move along - whats' the big deal.

anyway you could just run another coil wired to your current ignition with a switch to turn it on/off...thats what i planed to do. Even if it did disrupt your current ign. would that be a good thing as you'd want unburned fuel in the exhaust anyway. checked out your site.. lots of imagination going on there. best of luck.

From what appears to be a fellow hamber (Shortbus)

    http://www.tnga.org/Tech/flame_throwers.htm

Probably can make it for less than 15 bucks (minus the coil)

Now can we PLEASE get back to talking about dryer sheets

    just watch those flames.
I once grabbed a ten year old who was walking behind a car full of idiots at Viva on top of the roof lot. The idiots were blowing flames without looking. It was not late or anything, people and kids everywhere. Almost toasted the kid.
