Can anyone help me with the history of this?

    I came accross this door and am looking to find the rest of the car, I got the lead from a chick who bought it to hang in her garage, and later needed some cash. I'd really like to find the rest of the car if possible for obvious reasons. A little history would help in the search...

  2. Looks like an old model A door with much newer paint. Probably done just for the hell of it. Door is,nt even chopped. :confused:

    If that really is an old local piece you might get with Donnie (the water boy) out at the dragstrip. And I bet he could tell you.

    It's not "local" as it came from Dallas.

    Seriously? Looks like someone painted some junk on a rusty door so they could hang it on their wall. There is no rest-of-the-car.

    ....and I hope you didn't pay $120 for it!

    and it very well may be just some old door, repainted for garage art... I'll find out more when the NHRA opens @ 10:30. No, I didn't pay close to that, but have you priced 28/29 doors lately? Seems pretty close to what they're going for.
