Anyone ever use abrasives with your pressure washer?

I remember seeing this on a weekend carshow a couple of years back. I have some heavy cleaning to do and thought this may be the answer. Does anyone have any experience doing this, good or bad?

I found some kits to do this but not a lot of info.

  2. We used a little sand to blast outside decerative iron. It helped keep the dust down but the water made for instant rust that needed to be cleaned up.

How would you introduce the sand into the stream?
