    I just picked this baby up at a flee market. Along with a 1952 Ansen Catalogue. Ive never seen one, anyone else?

    You could buy a full race Jimmy mill with 245 HP for $1050 in 1952...check it out.

    Sounds cheap in 2009, but you could buy a damned nice car for $1050 in 1952. In that context, it would be like dumping $20,000 in an engine today.

    That's funny; the intake pictured there is identical to the triple intake McGurk sold until he started casting the log manifolds with "McGURK" on the side.

    Neat Find -If you copy the Wayne book I sure buy one from you!
    There was a dirt modified that ran in the late 50's "Six Pack to go"
    that ran the Wayne motor.

    I just cant believe a catalog from 1952 has survived for almost 60 years

    Looks a lot like the January 1, 1949 Wayne catalog I have, price of the engine less starter was $950.00:)

    I have the real thing-Original Wayne engine(chevy version) I would be interested in a zerox copy or photos of the complete catalog.
