Damn I want to do that - drive my hot rod down the street I mean. I don't remember any details about the truck. Is it just typical old ford stuff...banjo, juice brakes, etc? And does finished for now mean you're going to blow it apart and paint it soon?
As usual, you make kool stuff killer.. Guess mama have to hide the keys, huh? Hows the "scrubliner" going?
Killer, nice looking truck, can't tell from the pics, looks like 8ba 39 trans. and 40 rearend. I'm I close? HaHa, good looking truck.--TV
is mama gonna get to drive that ever? "uh,waitaminute honey,i still have to work the bugs out, gotta take another test drive"
It's gonna get blown apart and painted purple... the inside will be grey tweed. Heh... flat black frame, hot rod grey primer on the body, dual carbs... then it'll be "done". Hi Bob! How was the rest of your trip? Yeah, yeah, typical old junk. Old dropped front axle, spring in front on the bones, 8BA, 38 truck (cause it was free and I'm cheap) trans, model a rear with upside down juice brakes. I used the 8ba cause it runs... I have a 39 Merc, 40 over, Isky cam that might go in it... I've since come across a rebuilt side shift trans... just need a good top load case to put those guts into. Gotta 46'ish banjo for it to... I doubt the stock model a will last long but who knows?! Scrubliner... thats funny! Patch panels and fixing ****py chops ****... He found another toy to play with while I finish Toothpicks Street Rod so he's on hold for about a month... TV. show me your truck. Mamas already driven it a couple of times... the "working out the bugs" line didn't work for long. The rear tires are 7.50x16 trailer tires.
