I'm new and thought I'd introduce myself... though I don't see any posts as intros here. Okay, I'm completely lost on computers. I don't have a site.. don't know how to make one and have no idea how to put a pic of my car up here... I need a tutor. Anyway, I'm the proud friend of a 1959 Edsel. I'm a girl... live in the Dallas area.. A friend in San Antonio told me about this site and suggested I get hooked in with ya'll. So... HI.
Her name is Stacie Herndon and her boyfriend, who has a 54chevy is Scott Kimrey. They're both "50's" folks and seem to know a lot about car scenes and a lot more about 50's culture. Anyway, she's a web designer and is very knowledgable about sites re; cars, clubs, etc.
Tutelage: First...you can't be "new"...except to this site, I'm ***uming that's what you meant. Two...No one on here ever professes to "knowing" computer.You must have a tad of knowlege, you posted a semi-intro...or did your brother do that for you? Three... For the dirty ole men (me included) and the youngsters on this board, you'll need to state your age, marital status and measurments. Four...Either it's YOUR Edsel or your friends... First... I'm new to this site Two... As far as having a tad of knowledge I at least have a t, or maybe even a ta of knowledge (probably not a whole tad, though...) and I don't have a brother. Three... I'm in my late twenties or early thirties, I'll let you know when I decide... my marital status is "happily none" and I would just lie about the measurements anyway... but I look good in my heels I wear when I cruise Four... She is MINE, I hold her ***le... she just gets testy when people are posessive with her, so I refer to her as a friend, cause she's always there for me and always makes me smile. (my friends aren't cool enough to have an edsel... just me.) Okay, I'm going to say this once, then I'm gonna put my lunch-time beer down and we're gonna go outside. I mentioned Stacie bc Cherryblossom wanted to know who the friend was that recommended me to this site. I told her it was Stacie (not Stacey...) Someone somehow thought then that I was Stacie. Though I mentioned she's in San Antonio and I'm in Dallas. Two different people, geez even on a site she gets the attention. I'm pretty too!!! Welcome. I've been to Texas, it's very big. Texans are nice people. Edsels are really strange looking.
