I've been a member of the HAMB for a couple years, hoping that someday I'll actually have a car that fits. My other rides are cl***ic wagons, but a bit new for this board. But this new girl should fit right in...

She needs some work but she's pretty solid and I just love her large curves.

3 on the tree originally, now on the floor

The last photo was as I was doing some shuffling... The '67 behind the tree is going up for sale to make room for the new girl.

Lucky for you, it's up for sale to make room. Although it's about to be green with some salt flat covers on it...

Yeah, I've just always had a soft spot for the Grocery Getters...

I happen to think '58 was a good-lookin' year for everyone, LOVE 58 chevies, fords and chryslers.

    Nice longroofs.

Me too....Wagons are my favorite as well.

  8. If you still have the parts, put the 3 back on the tree. That's one RARE piece.

Nice score on the new ride. Those old pontiacs have such a distinctive look. Very cool. And, if you don't mind me commenting, your girl does have some very nice curves:D.

Man, that's a good looking car. Not sure I've ever seen one! Good luck finding that trim piece across the tailgate! :D

Cool wagon. If you can locate the parts to set the three on the tree back up that would be cool. I think it would look cooler than the floor shifter.

Thanks for all the kind words... I can't wait to put some miles on her.
I think I have most of the components for the 3 on the tree, but the steering column itself has a broken collar. And I really need to put a tilt in there, people back in '58 were SHORT! I need all the room I can find in that car. I'm about to move the seat back 4" on some plates, that should help too.

The front two seats have been re-done, but it needs pretty much every interior panel. I'm not thrilled with the baby blue that someone painted it, and would rather have the green, but that's way down the road on things to worry about...
