Great photos....terrific to see the Sunbeam Tiger included.

I went to Bonneville in 2004....fantastic.

Also been to Lake Gairdner, Sth Australia in 2007 which was great also.

I'm hoping to get there this coming March 2010.

Some of my crusty mates are toying with the idea of building a salt lake racer!!

Thanks once again for all your effort in organising and posting your wonderful photos.....Ain't this forum and Internet thing great!

    Cheers
    David

Thanks for the pictures. Nice way to warm up a cold morning. By the way, this guy has lots more class than most. Rather than paint some bogus number like 59C on a car that will never see real speed. He drives this car out from back east somewhere and runs it at World of Speed. No posing. I wish more would do that.

Wow great pics, I am amazed at the stuff you do not see when you are there.

Got a pic of me standing there, actually not looking like to much of an dork.

Thats how I felt looking at everyone elses photos.

We did not get there until Monday afternoon so I know things had thinned out quite a bit from the weekend but it was still an incredible experience.

Thanks for the pics. The blue roadster with the ardun belongs to a friend of mine in richmond,va. He is 75 yrs. Old and this year he upped his own record to ( i think ) 211 & change. He broke 200 about 4 yrs ago. He still builds them and drives them.

I think you got my meaning wrong, I meant to say that you saw and took pics of 4 times more cars than I saw.

This has to be the most comprehensive thread yet for B'ville 2009.
    Thanks again!

Are there many room openings on monday night? Was it hard to find a room?..........looks like there are lots of cars still out there after the weekend crowd leaves.

You definitely got around. I didn't see half of the cars in your shots. Of course Bonneville is a big place. Thanks for posting.
