Cool! Good to see you on here. We spoke briefly at the KKOA show in Boonsboro and again at Jalopyrama. The truck looks great.

This show has been going on for many years under various managements and now seems to be back on the upswing. Nice way to kinda end the season. You gotta get out of the house more often:)

He got invited by the guy who does the show. The guy who owns it lives in my neighborhood. He has to run race gas because it has such high compression........really nice guy but the truck........you decide

The show was started being put on by The Street Cars of Desire car club. I was in the club back in the mid 90's. Dave Cohen ran the club with an iron fist and finally left the club and started doing this on his own a few years ago. The cash winners are usually his friends or at least that is what I have seen in the past. Mr Cohen is trying his best to immolate Jalopyrama but wants to try and cover all types of cars. I'm going to pay my $10 to take a peek and a quick walk through before heading to the garage to work on my car.

    Awesome pics al..........

  29. Great set of photos, as usual, Al.
Good to see the Super Bell coupe back in Maryland after it's 6 months at the NHRA Museum in Pomona.
It does seem to have a much better group of cars than in recient years. Best of luck to the new promoter.

Somebody save me some aggravation and tell the guy with the pickup not to bring it to the Showdown in May! He can hang out with the Corvette/wide body model A guy.
