My plymouth has two rear wheels that look like the old Crager rims but the center cap says Fenton. Is Fenton a knock off of Crager or the other way around and are they worth anything.

  3. It was the early spring of 1966 that I first laid my eyes on them.
A friend of mine rode away from "Ellis The Rim Man" with a set that he and I mounted on his new '66 427 Vette roadster.
I was so impressed with the looks of those babies that I decided to to the drill too.
He and I rode back to Ellis in Boston that next Saturday to buy some for my '58 Vette but the were all sold out of them.
I ended up buying a set of Mickey Thompson Raider wheels.
They were the chrome rim with the alumn. 3 rib centers and the 3 bladed hollow knock off spinners.
We were really styling with those M/T and and Fenton's on our Corvettes.
We just thought we were the shit!

I had a set of fentons on my 64 falcon, they had a crome rim with mag. 5 spoke center and center cap. I have a picture some where of them if I can find it I'll post it. Cracked the mag. centers on two rims due to potholes in Chicago.
