I never have, seeing as A. my car dosent run, and B. im 13, But i HAVE know of some people that raced for the ***le of the losers car, and even lost! Have you ever done this? If so, please tell your story.
in oklahoma, the only pink slip we have are the ones our ladies wear. i never could afford to lose a car..so i just kept my mouth shut and watched the other guys give their hard work away.

Dude I know "lost' his car on the show. About two months later the winner of the show gave it back to him. After they took it around and showed everyone what they won, and blew up the mill.
Back when I was in college, must have been about '87 or so, I had a pretty fast OT car ('73 Challenger, with a built 340/4bbl engine). I was young, single, stupid, and could afford to drop money into it. I had just spent around $3,000 on the motor, and it was quick. There was a guy that I had known since grade school. I never liked him, but we always ended up in the same cl***es all through school, even into college. He was a rich kid, knew **** about cars, and his parents had bought him a new Fiero GT when they first came out. He was always bragging about how his car was SOOO much faster than my old, loud POS. Finally I had had enough. In front of a very large group of witnesses, I threw my keys on the table and said "Let's go. When you're man enough to make it worth my while, and run for pink slips, then it's go time. Until then, shut the hell up." After watching him dance around for a few minutes, I picked up my keys and walked away. He pretty much shut up after that.
Never raced for pinks but in the mid to late 60's it was the deal at some of the backroads racing in this area to race for 100s. Not many takers if you flashed the cash.
Raced one time for a pink slip and when the S.O.B. lost,he tried to give me some sheer *****hose and a half-cup demi-bra instead...
beat a Chevelle in a street race... the rich kid has a pro motor built as he was pissed... got the word out he waz looking for me as he waz ready for a rematch. So.. I gets the word back to him... no problem we shall meet at the dragstrip Fri nite best of 3 takes both cars home. We each must drive our own car.....(his was a 4 gear and he can't shift) I took a big chance but never heard another word from him... Thats as close as I ever got.... Pontiac Slim
We used to race for pinks in the late 80's in highschool in Nor-Cal. Every week a few Chevelles or Mustangs would change hands but you knew you had a chance next week to get it back. For some reason a kid with a 440 Ramcharger would clean up and take one or two cars home regularly.
I raced a kid for his bike against mine once when I was about 11 or 12. I lost but he sold it back to me for $10.
No But one time back in the 80’s a big fight broke out between my friends and the other guy when I wouldn’t agree to bet on a race between my GTO and his chevy. I was broke. He was drunk. Never did race, he just got his *** kicked.
No! Never that confident and didn't want to loose my car. $10 or $20 would be fine, and that was a lot of gas.
I paid hard earned cash in high school to buy my car. No way I was going to lose it in a race! But, my friend and I did try to outrun each other when I came up behind him on the highway when we were both on dates. We were going side by side doing 120.... scared the **** out of those girls!
"Racing for pink slips" is like high school stories about getting laid--most of them are more fiction than fact.
