53-56 f100 brake assembly or not?

Anyone know how to determine if i bought 53-56 f100 brakes today at pomona swap meet..the vendor said he thinks they are but was'nt for sure
i have 37-48 spindles and was told the f100 backing plate,drum would work ..with some modification
BUT QUESTION IS..IS THERE A WAY TO TELL FOR SURE WHAT YEAR..MAKE ETC THE BRAKES ARE I BOUGHT TODAY?

are these buick brakes?

 

They look like F-100 backers. Does the bolt parrten match the 37-48 spindles? If so...Get the right bearings and you are set.

those are NOT `53-`56 Ford f-100 , or `48-`52 F-1

These are F1,F100 backplates.
Oh,and I didn't butcher them,that's how I got 'em!

no idea...what is the bolt pattern? that would help narrow it down

 

This is a WAG. I would look to 50's GM. Maybe 56 Cad,Buick,Olds. Not too much later when they went to two bolts and the upper post anchor attachment.

 

I jua set of 682 guide with thr turtle head lens. Paid the guy a floated to a friends spot to hide them. Ole says what did ya get / I says682 for nolthin. He says I see why, those motypeunt on a truvk grille. Was a long day.Boughtst love swap meets.
