The 4th HAMB plastic model Build-Off has come to an end. It is up to you to decide what your favorites are. The theme of this Build-Off was trucks. Any vehicle that was built to Haul stuff. I really dig these model contests. Some cool stuff here, but # 10 gets my vote. Cool little truck

 

They are all nice I like the ute pickup .

 

I liked each one as I was going down but 15 gets my vote.

 

All absolutely great....Very hard to choose. Rob

 

#15 is nice but the proportions are off. The 'bed' looks too long to me. The raceer on the trailer, however, hell yeah!! #9 gets my vote. Clean build.

 

Liked 1 and 15 a lot. Great work and patience.

nice contest...1,3,9,10,15....nice builds...15 as someone else said proportions are off..10 would be my choice but something about the bed...9 and 3 was too stock....so that leaves #1 and my vote...looks just right!!

Kiwipackard, your truck came out pretty good I wasn't sure about the roof at first, but now for some odd reason I like it.

One of the weird things is that I've had a mental picture of number 14 in my mind as something I have to build for a number of years now. Looks like I'm gunna hafta do something else with those old '53 Flipnose kits.

Paul, you got waaaaay too much spare time and Kiwi, your truck came out even more awesome than I thought it looked when only half done.

Now I dunno who to vote for.

Toss up... #1 0r #3.... but I voted for #3! Awesome work...

 

I am traditional and Kustum all the way but hands down for looking like a real car is number 1 in my book. There is a hamber here in Bako who has a Ranchero just like it and makes me wonder if he built the model. Honestly I could see #1 out on the street. I like the color scheme of #2 and 3 is a little to polished for the faded look but well done otherwise. I also like #15 for obvious reasons pertaining to the lake beds and enginutiy but it seems a little unfair to allow a double model in the mix and makes it a little unfair to the others with a single model. All the other models are very nicely executed and a good showing of talent within the members of the board and the dedication to details and a job well done.-Weeks

had to give my vote to # 1 ...but #3 was a close second.....I agree on #15 that its well built but unprportioned...and also the the unfairness to the other builders by having a multiple car display....

 

The one thing that put number one over the top for me is character. That Ranchero has so much character and it is just perfect.

 

This was a tough call, but the paint job on #1 is just awesome and I love the little details.
