All aluminum, 1100 cubic inch, DOHC, 32 valve, Ford V8 built in 1942.

Maybe one of these days I'll get around to finishing it.

Maybe some will think the common SBC has no attitude...but a a dual quad 283 with a solid cam is something most guys can actually afford to build and beat on.Cheap, light ,and reasonably powerful always makes a good weapon

Heres a mower with attitude.

 

I got a tour of the Roush engine dyno facility in Livonia Mich a few years ago.
Talk about some amazing sounds! I found out later that a few of the engines were only being "spun" with big electric motors. No combustion, only the noise of the valve train. Sure sounded mean!

 

I'm sorry but nothing say attitude like chain drive blower

 

It's pretty sad when 20 years old is still 20 years too new.
