Does anyone have any info on Cal-custom's T-bucket kits from the 60's? I think I have seen one or two but wasn't sure.
Bigcheese, were the ones that have the '65 GTO straight axle. That tagline was one the back of Arnie "The Farmer" Beswicks 1963 Tempest Wagon "The Grocery Getter"
I don't mean to hijack this post..But it's nice to hear from fellow PONTIAC guys. Got any shots of the straight axle car?
Z-Bros. The first one is the Henry J motor. She was just a little 406 with REAL good heads and a big honkin cam. Intake is Offy 2X4 w Carter 625s. This car had VIOLENT acceleration. Had her done 4 days and a guy from Massechusteets bought her. The next is my daily driver Model A with "undisclosed" cubic inch. Out of the box Edelbrock heads. The PONCHO motor for the Studebaker will be more than enough to take on all comers... 'Nuff about me, how about YOU?? Tell me more about this straight axle Poncho!! -Abone.
We got a 406 also with a Wenzler tunnelram dualquad with 2 holley 450's. Has a 285 duration at .050 over. Roller rockers and stock '66 heads. Still working out the bugs on tuning the carbs. Just got the car put together and really haven't had time to really run it since the winter is upon us.
That's one big ass cam... Keep us posted on your car. There are a few PONCHO guys around here(Rocky, Axle etc.) that would love to hear about it. See ya, -Abone.
How can you identify the Cal-Custom T? The T that I have was built in 1961 and I can not find any way of IDing the body.-MIKE
Scotch, that thing is so sick..... almost not right being so big... and this is from a die hard chevy man. how about a pic of the car its going into (even if it is a later model, non traditional hotrod..)
