A poem of thanks for the new calendars

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by jerry@bigjsignal.com, Dec 9, 2009.

  1. PSYCHE!

No poem just a note of thanks and they look great. Yes I did snag a few off of the store site. These look great once again. The HAMB has the best looking clalendars hands down bar none. Great Job and thanks for getting them out goes to the calendar committee.

I know how to use those poems and I'll use them again next year if I have to.

Interesting... The 2010 calendars were posted under soft parts at the site store, complete with photos not 10 minutes ago.

I think most of us know they weren't quite available for shipping, but they appeared available for purchase at $22 a piece.

    The link is gone now????

    Very curious.

  6. Query calendar on the store search site and there it is, the 2010 calendar. You can thumbnail through the pics and see how it looks for 2010. I filled my cart, paid shipping and sealed my deal. I didn't know they might not ship right away but I got mine coming soon and that's good enough for me.

I screwed up... They shouldn't be listed yet. They are gone now.

If you bought one, you will have to wait until they get here before I can ship. If you would rather not wait, email me and I will get you a refund.

    Sorry fellas.

I hope to have them for sale FOR REAL soon.

We are late getting them out as we are doing a pretty damn special calendar this year.

  8. I'll be damned but I just re-queried the store again and they took it right back off but not before I placed an order that included a charge for shipping just a few minutes ago and I even got an email confirmation from the jalopy journal store and it is for the 2010 calendar not the 2009. I stated in a thread yestersay that I was watching the store as if I was tuned to a starting tree. They won't take me lightly next time will they? Take it from me, they look great and if that was just a test post it looks like the real post is coming very soon. This is a little odd.

  9. Ryan, you should know better than to put test honey out in this swarm of killer bees and hope it goes un-noticed! I Didn't mean to steel your thunder either and no I don't want a refund, I want my calendars and I'll wait, patiently now too. I hope this doesn't mean I'll have to re-order. I'm getting weary from constantly checking the store site. I will add "well done". You tell me if you need to refund me and if you don't I'm happy if you do I'll email you.

Hope this doesn't mean you'll start writing more poems.

  11. No, I promised no more. That poem **** was a product of hoping to do something that rose to the top and got the calendar guys attention. It's ironic and probably more of coincidence but from my angle it looks like it worked. Almost anyway. You are safe for now.

  14. I'm starting to feel like I did when I was a kid and stumbled across the christmas stash on the years Mom and Dad could afford it. Cool but you were better off not letting anyone know what you saw. For 10 minutes today the store screwed up and I was able to view the calendar and it's thumbnails. I'm not going to try and low budget describe anything I saw as I feel I already have stirred up something and although without malice I was at the wrong place at the wrong time. Ryan and his team deserve all the glory when they put it out and to quote Ryan, "we (Ryan and committee not me) are doing a pretty damn special calendar this year." I'm a faithful follower of the HAMB calendar hence all the **** I started yesterday and today. I say nothing more after this but Ryan is not over playing this. We will all be very proud to have these when we can. Let me close this thread now.

Don't sweat it Jerry... not a big deal. I hope you liked what you saw. They are the best we've ever done.

They are being printed by HAMBer Jarzenhotrods this year. I gave the final approval on Monday, so they should be ready any day now.
