Hello all!! Just wanted to introduce myself, I was totally innocent till a buddy p***ed me a Hot Rod magazine in Mr.Nivers math cl***, that would be 1974!! man where has all the time gone? after kids, college, marriage, hurricane andrew,,, lol she still waits for me in the garage, My trusty Rusty 68 Super Sport Chevelle.. My nic comes from an old Miami Machinist HC Wilcox who took a broken hearted kids ruined engine in 1975 and told him, "Kid this aint the end of the world, NO MATTER WHAT PEOPLE TOLD YOU! " There upon he took my bits and pieces and Sleeved what I thought was a ruined block, Hell I thought it was magic! Ever since then I so much appreciate anybody who p***es on skills, advice, encouragement, work ethic, to the younger generation. I am now just starting to get back into this as I deal with the almost universal midlife crisis! Except who needs a hairpiece when you can shave it! gets some avaiators, and fire up your blast from the pastt To all of those great car crafters , machinists, and hot rodders both past and present... especially old man HC WILCOX who pretty much sleeved and ***embled my 396/375 for nothing more than cleaning up his shop, and running errands,,,, THANKS YOU...............................
Hi Sleeve! Man I need an old man Wilcox...I am used to the exact opposite. more like, "this IS the end of the world, no matter what people told you!" lol Good to see you.
