9.4's is nothing to sneeze at... and it looks freaking great doing it. Mismatch combo or not, it's one of my favorite drag cars I've seen.

Wheelie bars are good.... what rear suspension is in it? 4 link?

Dave, you do have one awesome car! I was out there that day but never got to see you make a p***. It was kind of neat to see how they shoot the show but it is very time consuming and we didn't get to see as many p***es as we would have liked.

Very cool! I wish Randy would have said a bit more about the motor. Nobody in my peer group (musclecars) would know WTf a 301 is! Seems like there's a whole story behind that, and none of the guys that I grew up with would ever know that guys used to bore the **** from a 283, and rev the sh#t out of it for that kind of power. Very cool indeed.

Thanks again everyone, especially the Sock F*ckers. It's kind of humbling/embarrasing to hear all this stuff. We're just 3 guys in garage next to the house drinking beer. The internet makes the car way more well known than it deserves considering how often we actually drag it out. Being Norwell Equipped doesn't hurt though.

There is no rear suspension. Front is torsion bar with maybe an inch of travel. Turbo 400 trans w/ a brake.

 

Ha..good one. I'm sure Randy would be happy to provide any volunteer with a demo. I'll take the video.
