It looks very much like a "Wolseley" after they went bankrupt in 1926 and were taken over by "Morris". I have a copy of "The Heritage Motor Centre" catalog with photos showing all of the singular features of your car. I expect that there are several websites in G.B. since Wolseley's were produced at least until the early seventies.

You might be on to something there!

When I looked up Wolseley I saw a bunch of cars with potential. I ALSO saw this MG! MAN this thing is cool!!! Obviously not like the car in the pictures, but cool, just the same!

Would love to have something like that!

  5. Notice the small scallop in the door to fit around the rear fender. In the 1930s French cars were RHD as well as LHD so that won,t help much. I say it,s French and it even looks like a small AMILCAR . I had one of those about 25 years ago, very similar. This coupe body could be coachbuilt .

Just buy it and haul it home. You can mock it up and get better pictures all around and the sleuths can have more time to solve the mystery.

looks like a Fiat to me. the body lines on this 1929 514 sedan look real close along with the front fenders. havent been able to find a pic of a coupe.

All of the styling cues that "Revhed" listed are on Wolseley's from the 20's, early 30's, after they went bankrupt they were taken over by Morris. There are probably some websites in G.B. as they were made at least into the 70's.
