Dennis Wilson 304 s western hills dr. Algona, Iowa 50511 or: Heather Wilson, same as above thank you all!! I don't know any thing about pay pal accounts
My thoughts are with Ethan. Helping him keep his spirits up is the best medication you can give. My wife went through a bout with brain cancer and is winning. When she was having radiation treatments the patient following her was an 8 year old boy. It tore me up watching that little guy coming up the sidewalk.
You can send donations to Heather Wilson @ 304 S. Western Hills Dr. Algona, IA 50511 if you haven't had any luck! Thanks SO Much!!!! Happy Thanksgiving!
that is just terrible, its just like that what my health teacher calls it, the unfair disease hope he gets better
Hello everyone. Today we had the benifit for Ethan and his family. It was a great success. Ethan was able to make it to the benifit for most of the afternoon. He is pretty emotional as of now but he did really well. Ethan's hair almost all fell out so the other day , three of his friends took him to their house and had a head shaving party. He looks really good without hair. There are pics of him on his care page . It is amazing how this small town has rallied around this little boy. I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone on the HAMB for all the kind thoughts and prayers and for the donations. This is a long road to travel and we are just getting started. Ethan goes back to Iowa City tomorrow for three weeks worth of Chemo treatments. Wish him luck. Thanks again, Dennis

Keep positive (sounds as if you all are anyway) Head shaving parties ROCK! we had one when my future bride at the time was going though chemo (now married 9 years and still cancer free) Everyone that was close to her got together and shaved their heads....even chicks....it was an awesome display of solidarity and strengthened her greatly. GO ETHAN!

O k I missed the post office today, but I can ship FED ex tomorrow, got a box of hot wheels stuff for him, Tell him to hang on to the boneshaker one and it will be worth some money one day it's already a 40th anniversary collectors item, while i was looking for bubble wrap at the store, I found four more hot wheels hot rods, strangely enough they were all together at the front of the rack. I wonder how they just happened to be there,, hmmmm, I also threw in a I believe in Santa hat, He is after all 7 years old and it's Christmas. I also threw in a Johnny Lightning 2003 Christmas ornament car, you can hang it in his room. All right everyone lets make this the best Christmas this little guy has had yet. I'll keep praying for him, I have a five year old grandson and one not quite a year yet, and one on the way, plus all the girls, I would be devastated if anything happened to any of them.
Great idea and we are going to try to do something in the spring. I will update as plans are made. Thanks to all.
I also have cancer i know what is going on this is no picknick ,its harder on the caregiver than anything .My prayers are out there to anyone who has to deal with it I have been dealing with bone cancer for 3 years now i want to thank all of you who have donated blood ,bone marrow ,just 2 min of your time to people like me and to all who needs that little bit to make it in this world .THANK YOU from my heart. If anyone need to talk or have any questions please fell free to contact me,we are in this together, and with the grace of GOD we will make it through this .
I just hate it so much that this little guy has to spend Christmas in the hospital, I love kids and when one gets sick and has to suffer through this, it just tears me up inside. I'm sure these things happen as a test of Gods faith, Just as Job was tested No matter what he will have that child surrounded by angles at all time. It may seem cruel and unfair and it's easy to be angry at God, but he will remain faithful. I know it's been printed countless times, but I never get tired of footprints, it's so true, when you see one set of footprints in the sand, God has not abandoned you, he is carrying you. Footprints in the Sand One night I dreamed I was walking along the beach with the Lord. Many scenes from my life flashed across the sky.
In each scene I noticed footprints in the sand. Sometimes there were two sets of footprints, other times there was one only. This bothered me because I noticed that during the low periods of my life, when I was suffering from anguish, sorrow or defeat, I could see only one set of footprints, so I said to the Lord, You promised me Lord, that if I followed you, you would walk with me always. But I have noticed that during the most trying periods of my life there has only been one set of footprints in the sand. Why, when I needed you most, have you not been there for me? The Lord replied, The years when you have seen only one set of footprints, my child, is when I carried you.
Mary Stevenson, 1936

Package recieved . We are going down to Iowa City again this weekend and I will deliver them to him. He will be exited. Thanks so much. You are awsome. Dennis
no problem, I think several people are sending him Hotwheels, I hope it makes his Christmas a little bit better, I know I sure would hate to have to spend it in the hospital.
Prayers are with him. I hope things go well. I agree with the earlier statements that kids shouldn't be sick. I'm heading off to give my kids a hug right now. - Jeremy
