How much ground clearance do you need?

    I am building a '32 Ford Roadster and am in the process of fabbing up engine mounts for the '56 265. What is a good amount of ground clearance for the oil pan? I'd like to keep the car as low as possible.. Durant mono leaf in front and Superslide reversed eyes in the rear.

    When all tires are flat you dont want any part of the car touching the ground....except the rims

    I would like an inch or two above the bottom of the axle beam. Them speed bumps in the trailer park are a *****.:eek:
