Your car (and driving style at Bonneville) was the topic of conversation at the local hot rod Friday breakfast in Portland a couple weeks ago. Those old guys sure liked your Packard, and one of them is inspired to build the one he has.

    Brian,

Your car is one of my favorites. I was delighted the see the cover and article in Hot Rod. It's amazing how much conversation your car generates. Several of my buddies from all over the state called me asking if I'd seen the magazine. Your car improves each time I see new pictures of it. Congratulations and keep up the great work.

Again, very satisfying to see the Packard straight-8 showcased! You busted knuckles, and you need to be recognized. CONGRATS!

It's not about the money, it's about the time involved to read it :p....or look at the photos like some. I read every night, either a novel (obviously a portion of it) or the internet. I really don't feel the need to purchase any car mags at this point as I either read about them here on the HAMB first or see them first hand at events. I was one of the lucky ones at B'ville this year and got a RIDE in the Hot Rod Packard! :D:cool:

  22. :DYeah guess I cant blame ya........sometimes it good to have something to read in the "office".........

Congrats! I've admired your car and craftsmanship for some time. It's worthy of the cover.

Way to go Brian! Just finished reading the article this morning. What a great car! Actually, this issue of Hot Rod will go down as one of my favorites...and I have been subscribing for over 20 years.

With only the experience of one wife, three daughters and 25 women employees, I don't believe that women care to spend that much time at the "office".

Great looking car and one of the better HR spreads in sometime. Just curious-did you have the motor and the locate/luck into the head or did you have the head and go looking for the block?

You had to be there when he pulled into the Nugget {ex Stateline} and everyone rushed by the high dollar blue 32 roadster with the hemi in it to see the old Packard. The look on the hi rollers face was priceless. This year the engine got detailed, whats next for 2010 ? Please dont paint it !

Hey Nice Job Brian!!!! Its nice to see something other than a 69 camaro on the front of some of these mags. And your car looks great....that packard engine is about as cool as it gets.

Its also kinda neat that the HAMB Alliance Member Tag is visable on the cover of Hot Rod! Not sure if that has even ever happend before?
