    Hey,

I've always liked this car and one day hope to see it in person!

Can I ask a dump question? How does one repair damage to a powder coated finish? If you scratch it, or it requires welding to be done or frame repair?

Al my experience with production painting has lead me to beleve it can only be refinished by complete removal and replacement.

    Thanx,

Please keep us updated on the progress. I can't wait to see it completed. It will be interesting to see if it makes the same impression on me that it did when it was finished the first time.

  18. Nice to see it coming along so well. Now to keep the true Meek's style. You should come buy my 427 Ford motor to install right after your first winning show season.

when russ did it he used 66-67 riviera split bench seats front and rear. they fit the car so well and are really comfortable. even with the car sectioned 4 inches you can set in it and it does feel like its sectioned. thanks rod

well got the frame on all four wheels finally! got the wheels all polished and re-powder coated, they did a super job. all thats left to do is plumb the fuel line and put the tank sender in. this weekend the body is going back into the body jig so i can flip it and finish up the bottom side. hope to have the body back on the frame by the end of the month. here is some more pictures.
