Ok I believe all ch***is 35 to 40 are the same, Tomorrow I am getting A 37 humpback sedan, to use the ch***is for my truck. What are some complications I may run into. I am also gonna try to somehow use the firewall from the sedan on my truck, some idiot cut it up to make a SBC fit. Will the fender brackets interchange?, gas tank issues? grill issues? etc.

Frames are the same except for the hydraulic brake pedals and some brackets for them, on the '39-'40 frames. Don't know about the body parts.

car frames and truck frames are a little different but you can easily make it work.

You'll have to remove the side body mounts and drill a few holes.

I believe the front crossmember is different. But you will end up lower.

I have a stock 36 Ford pickup frame sitting next to a 38 Humpback Sedan frame and the body mount holes measure exactly the same. You will have to remove the outboard body mounts for the sedan though as mentioned earlier.

There are slight differences in the radiator mounts(height), and as mentioned a couple of the outrigger mounts back past the cab will have to be removed.

The wescott frame drawings note some of the changes to rad. mounts and the brackets that come off for the trucks.
