hey all, Ive been browsing and sucking up info on here for quite some time, love all the tech articles, friday art shows and the attitude of everyone on here, very helpful and informative. Thought it was about time I introduced myself, Im Craig, I live far down south in Christchurch, New Zealand. After a 3 year search I finally found myself a 54 chevy more door early this year, yes 4 doors, pretty slim pickings down here with solid pre 70's cars within my budget. Its my first ground up rebuild so will be a good learning process. I will be notching the rear and installing a fatman ultra low crossmember up front after xmas.

Heres a couple of pics, when i first got it and as the body sits at the moment.

Im still throwing the idea around if i want to bodydrop/channel it about 40mm so the sills will sit on the ground when aired out, If anyone has done this on a 4 door 49-54 id appreciate some input, mainly on raising the rear tubs, I will be running 15" wheels with 70 series tyres.

    Cheers Craig..

My 54 is Mustang IId, notched, and bagged, it was someone elses project that was never finished. I have plenty of horror stories of the wrong ways this car was done. Now its slowly on track and Im correcting these issues so If i can help in any way, hit me up.
