The above post from a man who owns one of the coolest fat fendered ('38) car to turn a wheel. Hang on Ryan, the times coming when thay will repop your ride in gl***. Then you'll really think they ****. Frank
Frank,Ryans right, the Coast to Coast 38 ford really ****s,,,, See even us guys with fake cars throw rocks,,,especially if we are in a GL*** hi-boy!
Gl*** cars are kit cars, and I have always thought that they should be judged in a seperate cl*** at shows. They are only a representation, or new design style of an original body. There is also some really ugly gl*** cars such as the coast to coast bodies, and the street beasts. Last year at the Temecula Rod Run, a gl*** coast to coast '38 Ford (that is really stretching it) won best of show. The car was ****ing hideous, and in my opinion was a bad kit car trying to look like a badly customized '38 Ford convertible. Anyway, I don't like gl*** cars. When I am reading magazines, I sometimes go to the facts about the car to see if the body is real or not. I am not saying I won't look at the car featured after that, but I do have a much better appreciation for the car provided it is a real body.
