Unless he was contacted by a "collection agency", and after what you have been through with this Steve Soderberg dude, I wouldn't believe a word he said.

I know that this may sound crazy, but I would still call the police to give them a heads up. I can almost bet that he is not sending your parts and telling you what you want to hear. And I bet the local police have a "small" record that is building on the crook that they are building up for a felony.

If it was me I would call the local PD and let them know your "internet fraud" situation & I would not say a word to "Steve", and if you get your parts........congrats......if not......the cops will have a case to go get him.........and stop him from scamming others.

Hey Guys Guess What!!! A tracking number!! He just called and said that he was out side of the UPS with a number and told me the lady said I should have them Wednesday. Now just as long as UPS doesn't lose them we will be in business.. Thanks for all of the help offerings and such!!!

I live in Rockford. If you get any more BS from this guy and they didn't ship, I would be happy to go pick them up. We would then figure out the best way to get them to you. Let me know.

 

he can get a tracking number on line.doesnt mean he's goimg to step up...........

 

You know you can block your number by dialing *67 before the number you call, and it will come up private on their phone. You can also use tele s****ing, you can get three free phone calls, you can put any number you want on the caller id. This can be very fun, and you can drive people nuts with it. If you need ideas i got a lot of them on how to use this. just pm me.

I'd still write the guy off. Following through on a deal with the helpful "urging" of a hundred pissed off hot rodders does not legitimate the way this p.o.s. does business. I'm glad you got your stuff, but word needs to be spread about scammers like this guy.

Come on now skull---You were supposed to be that I did get them. I know he saw this thread just by the way the phone conversation was on Sunday when he had called. Now I have to get to work and start getting parts put on--BUT its cold outside..

glad you got your parts, I had a close call on an oil pan on another board..took 3 months of excuses and no shows, he gave me a tracking / and i watched it come through US and CDN customs and says delivered, yest i had no parcel......emailed, no response, then a week later he emails and says his wife shipped the pan to the wrong address, then he says he sent it fedex after it came back, i said no fedex, only postal like agreed upon before the transaction.

a few excuses regarding the delays, brings his wife, a traffic accident and possible miscarry for his wife in, I didnt`t know what to beleve...

then he says he`ll ship postal,finaly get it, nice part and price was ok, but he must have lost the price of the pan twice over if he did in fact ship it allover by mistake.

still, glad you got the headers, grab a touqe ( wool hat for some ) and get wrenching!

Just curious, are the headers in decent shape? Must be because you didn't say anything. That would have been bad if they would have finally showed up and been totally ****! I am glad everything ended up working out, to bad you had to stress about it so much.

 

Total s*** bag! Was arrested yesterday, posted $1000.00 to get out. NSF Check..Felony Amount. Winnebago County very familiar with him!
