1935 Ford chop

    Here's some shots of the chopping of a sedan I'm currently doing for a client at his shop. The first days work was building the braces, measuring and taping the cut lines. I'll be posting those pics later cause I forgot my camera the first day and the client used his. So here's the shots of the second day of work.

    Looks good.....how much ya take out of it? Details for the rest of the build?

    Ha! I see that you might be recessing the firewall from the marks that you drew out. Any way I could talk you out of the front face of that firewall so I can repair my own????

    Looks like good work!

    These are shots from the third day of the build. The car has got a 350 and a 350 turbo trans. It is chopped 3 inches and will have a 34 truck grill. It will be lowered all around once the motor and trans are installed. Probably about 3 inches in the rear. Those flames are not my work!:)

    Here are more pics of the build on the fourth day.The p***enger door is pretty rough but I think they want me to "fix" it. We'll see! Doesn't matter to me.

    Just make sure there's not a dip in that drip rail!:D

    Cool!! Thanks alot Chaddilac. I think you may have saved the build. I don't know if I would have thought about that drip rail thingy! Is that on the bottom or the top of the door?::confused: I hope I can figure it all out. Joke with ya later!
