Where have you been man! That ones been around for awhile now. Ashley Webb is here on the HAMB. Youtube has videos of the car running and it sounds badass! Just search under Golden Submarine or Dan Webb.
The craftsmanship is amazing. Who could afford to fund a project like that? So so so many hand made one off parts.
Yes, and a neighbor of mine has the orignal, real deal Miller Golden Sub. Search Youtube for vids of it at Indy.
I took some snapshots of it when it was in the Indy Museum...and one of your buddiess ownes it? Damn you gots some cool buddies Brian.
the craftsmanship is amazing and the "car" is awesome...looking. there's no way in hell it can possibly drive as good as it looks. it's so narrow that it's bound to roll over if it was really put through it's paces. like someone has already said, it's doubtful the thing will ever hit the street. am I alone in thinking that this is the exact opposite of what this forum is about? I'll shut up now.
I've also only discovered this a couple of weeks ago and asked about it here.... Cool Speedster at SEMA 2008 I found the pictures I posted when googling for 'kit cars' ..... - It would be the most memorable kit car ever produced.
I believe the 'real' Golden Submarine was destroyed, and your neighbor, possibly Buck Boudeman [?] built an awesome replica using many original Miller parts.
