New guy from Texas

Hi guys, I ve loved cars all my life and I've built a few cars. But 2 years ago i went to the day of the drags and i got hooked on rat rods. A guy i work with has a 34 five window coup and said he would help me build what ever i got. So i traded my 64 galaxy for a 40 ford truck. I think its looking good so far and i have learned allot. I would like some feed back on my truck good or bad. I'm trying for some where between rat rod and street rod.

Hey man! First off that truck of yours is looking real good. Most guys on here are going to love it.......but a word of friendly caution. Try to avoid using the words "rat rod" cause it stirs up alot nastiness with these cats lol. "Street rod" is not much better. I know it may seem a little nutso, but believe me it's a big deal on here. I do dig that "hot rod" you got there and I can't wait to shake your hand at Thaw or some other event. Welcome to the nuthatch!

Some BIG BLOCKS are RATS!........... Rats don't have rods and neither do streets.

Thanks i just finished it today. If u look in the pic the tops of the door were not done. It was allot harder than i thought it would be but will keep the pics up dated
