Here's my chance to give back to the HAMB. I remember meeting Ryan back when Hangin' Dice was still in Ft. Smith, been on here ever since. I figured 500 posts was a good time to raise some money for this outfit. So here's the scoop, I was thinking of auctioning off a piece of my artwork. The question was should it be rod or custom? The only answer I could come up with, BOTH! This is the first of two auctions, let's say they run til midnite, Monday (night) November 29th. I get confirmation from Ryan getting the money, I'll cover shipping, and you get a fine quality piece of artwork. Sound good? Just to let you guys know, I've probably got close to 45.00 dollars each in the framing alone. Let the bidding begin! First up is the 33-34 Coupe I originally did in hopes of it being used on the site for the first HAMB Drags. It's done in charcoal with a black mat. Frame (opening) is 12" x 16". The overall outer dimensions of the frame are 17.5" x 21.5". Here's a photo of it framed, and a scan of the artwork (before it was framed).
Oh damn....I've always loved that piece Sancho. I'm going to have to go $80 right now and keep watching it. And I'll stick this to the top as well.
Sancho.... I've always admired those artists who are able to work in charcoal and master it. My attempts always left me looking like Al Jolson...... Great work, strong auction......
Thanks for the compliments Johnny. It's actually one of my favorite mediums, you can do wonders with the shading.
And a guilded frame too!?!?!?!?....Wish I had some extra bread....... Wanna collect auto art/.......Collect this kat .cause this is an opportunity at ground level .nice work Sancho.......
Sancho...you are very talented...your work is great! And a Plymouth owner too...good taste all around!
Looks like this one goes to Grimlok. Ryan will let me know when it's paid for, and I'll need your shipping address.
